Jumbo Valley Colony

Founded in 2016 as a division from White Lake Hutterite Colony, Jumbo Valley Colony represents one of Alberta's newest Dariusleut communities, bringing both agricultural excellence and precision steel craftsmanship to the Fort Macleod region. Under the dedicated leadership of Manager Tom Tschetter and Minister Mark Tschetter, our young colony has quickly established itself as a leader in two key industries: modern agriculture and premium steel fabrication through our flagship business, JV Steel. Our steel fabrication expertise spans decades of experience in precision-engineered solutions, specializing in superior metal siding, roofing, and custom trim products designed for durability and aesthetic appeal in agricultural and commercial applications. What sets JV Steel apart is our automatic 40-year guarantee on all steel materials, ensuring long-lasting durability and peace of mind from the moment your product is delivered—especially valuable for roofing applications with minimum slopes of 3/12. Beyond our renowned steel business, we operate state-of-the-art agricultural facilities including custom-designed heifer barn projects and modern livestock management systems that reflect our commitment to both animal welfare and operational efficiency. Located at Fort Macleod, we've built our reputation on the traditional Hutterite values of quality craftsmanship, reliability, and customer service, whether we're fabricating precision steel products or managing our diversified farming operations.
