Their ancestors arrived in North America in 1874, settled in Canada in 1918, and began farming near Kyle, Saskatchewan in 1970, bringing with them generations of farming knowledge, a commitment to land stewardship, and the multi-family cooperative values that define Hutterite life.

Over the decades, Kyle Colony has grown and evolved into a thriving agricultural enterprise, continuously building on the foundation laid by those who came before. Committed to farm stewardship and to enhancing the value-added offering of Canadian agriculture, the colony identified a clear gap in the market, a locally grown, prairie-raised lentil and chickpea option that Canadians were simply not finding on store shelves.

Pulse is a community-based pulse processing operation focused on delivering premium quality lentils and chickpeas grown in the rich soils of the Saskatchewan Prairies.
