Oak Bluff Colony

Oak Bluff Colony is situated near Morris, Manitoba, in the fertile Red River Valley south of Winnipeg, an area known for its highly productive farmland and strong agricultural roots. Since its establishment in 1952, the colony has grown from a small farming settlement into a well-organized community focused on grain, oilseed, and livestock production, supplying dependable food and farm products to customers and partners across Manitoba.

Farming lies at the heart of daily life at Oak Bluff. Colony members work together to seed, tend, and harvest crops, care for animals, maintain equipment, and manage infrastructure, all within a communal system where labour and resources are shared. This cooperative approach supports efficient, large-scale agriculture while preserving a close-knit, faith-based way of life grounded in mutual responsibility and stewardship of the land.
