Parkview Colony

Founded in 1964 as a daughter colony of Huron Colony in Boissevain, Parkview Colony sits in the rolling foothills of Riding Mountain, Manitoba. Our community of roughly 129 members embodies the Schmiedeleut tradition of shared labor, mutual support, and stewardship of the land.

Our agricultural enterprises span over 10,000 acres of fertile prairie fields. We grow canola, flax, barley, and wheat, leveraging both traditional crop rotations and modern sustainable practices to maximize yield and soil health. Our livestock operations include a state-of-the-art hog finishing barn and a dairy herd managed with a focus on animal welfare and milk quality.

Complementing these core activities, our poultry barns produce eggs and broiler chickens under rigorous food-safety standards.

Parkview Colony also offers green-technology services—composting manure into nutrient-rich fertilizer for local farms—and precision equipment maintenance from our on-site metal and tractor shops. Every product and service we deliver reflects our commitment to excellence, integrity, and environmental responsibility.

We value the partnerships we build with customers and neighbors, believing that trust and respect are the foundation of lasting relationships. When you choose Parkview Colony’s grains, meats, eggs, or agricultural services, you’re supporting a community dedicated to quality craftsmanship, sustainable innovation, and the Hutterite spirit of cooperation.
