Sierra Farming Co

Sierra Farming Co, operating as Sierra Hutterite Colony, is a community-driven agricultural and manufacturing operation rooted in the traditions of Hutterite communal living. Like all Hutterite colonies, Sierra is built around shared work, faith-based values, and a commitment to quality that carries through every enterprise the community undertakes.

Farming is central to life at Sierra. Colony members manage large-scale crop and livestock operations adapted to the local prairie landscape, growing grains, oilseeds, and other commodities that support both the colony's self-sufficiency and regional food supply chains. Modern equipment and carefully managed land practices allow the colony to operate efficiently while maintaining a long-term perspective on soil health and sustainability.

Beyond the fields, Sierra Farming Co operates colony shops offering manufacturing and trades services for local farms, homes, and businesses. Hutterite craftsmen bring a hands-on work ethic and practical skill set to every project, producing durable, functional results across woodworking, metal fabrication, and other trades.

At Sierra, every product and service reflects the community's commitment to reliability, quality, and the enduring Hutterite values of cooperation and hard work. Whether sourcing farm commodities or skilled trades work, buyers who partner with Sierra Farming Co gain a dependable, community-backed supplier.
