About West Bench Colony
West Bench Colony has been part of Saskatchewan’s agricultural landscape for more than six decades. Located in the Rural Municipality of White Valley No. 49, the colony is surrounded by the open grasslands and working farmland of southwestern Saskatchewan.
Life at West Bench is rooted in the Hutterite principles of Christian faith, communal responsibility and working together for the benefit of the entire community. Members contribute their individual skills across the colony’s farming, livestock and day-to-day operations, helping maintain a dependable and self-sufficient way of life.
The colony’s agricultural activity includes dairy production. West Bench has appeared in Western Canadian dairy-performance records and as a breeder in Holstein Canada’s registry, reflecting its involvement in managed dairy farming and livestock genetics.
