These are not commodity chickpeas pulled from an anonymous supply chain. These are locally grown, Saskatchewan Prairie chickpeas, planted, harvested, and processed by Kyle Colony’s own K.C. Pulse operation, a community-built pulse plant located right on the colony farm near Kyle, Saskatchewan.

Kyle Colony has been farming this land since 1970, with an agricultural heritage stretching back to 1874. When Canadians told them the market was missing a truly local, prairie-grown pulse option, the colony responded by building their own processing plant and bringing a field-to-fork chickpea to market.
