It means the cell walls are intact, the moisture is still in the flesh, and the flavour that comes with that freshness is still there.

Summerland Colony picks their beans at that moment and gets them to you while the snap is still in them.

Summerland Colony grows beans in their colony garden near Carmangay in Vulcan County, Alberta. Established in 2021 as a daughter colony of Clear Lake Colony, Summerland is building out fresh produce operations to serve nearby towns and customers across Alberta. These beans are harvested at peak tenderness and available by the pound or in 20 lb bags through Hutterite Marketplace while the season runs.
