Summerland Colony grows cucumbers in their colony garden near Carmangay in Vulcan County, Alberta. Established in 2021 as a daughter colony of Clear Lake Colony, Summerland is building out fresh produce operations to serve nearby towns and customers across Alberta. Available by the pound for everyday use and in 20 lb bags for buyers with pickling and preserving on the calendar.

Two Sizes, Two Uses

For fresh eating. Colony cucumbers by the pound are for the kitchen, the cutting board, and the bowl. Slice them into salads. Lay them thick on a sandwich. Cut them into spears for snacking. Make a quick tzatziki. The per pound option is for buyers who want fresh colony cucumbers in the kitchen without needing to pickle anything.
