Unlike flexible rope or chain anchoring that allows the dock to swing and drift, the Strong Arm maintains a consistent, controlled standoff distance between the dock and the fixed structure, preventing lateral movement and keeping the dock precisely positioned regardless of wave action, boat traffic, wind, and current.

The telescoping design allows the arm length to be adjusted to match the exact standoff distance required for the installation, and the sliding action accommodates rising and falling water levels without requiring manual adjustment, keeping the dock at the correct position and angle throughout seasonal water level changes.
