Custom Greenhouses

Growing in Alberta means fighting short seasons, cold snaps, and relentless prairie wind. Tschetter Colony builds cabin-style greenhouses specifically engineered for that reality, structures that hold heat, diffuse light evenly, and stand up to the weather so your plants can thrive longer.

The frame is constructed from durable lumber with a sturdy timber shell and an extended roofline designed to shed rain and snow efficiently. Twin-wall polycarbonate side panels bathe the interior in plant-friendly, diffused light with minimal hot spots, delivering the even light distribution that promotes healthy, consistent growth. The raised log-look base adds structural strength and helps retain heat for early spring starts and late fall harvests.

Inside, the layout is practical and purpose-built: two full-length growing benches, a wide centre aisle for easy movement, and integrated power and water hookups ready for grow lights, heat mats, and irrigation systems. Two operable windows provide cross-ventilation, and a gable vent manages airflow and humidity. A solid centred door with a compact porch-front entry keeps the structure accessible and weather-tight.

This is a greenhouse built the same way Country Cabins builds everything, with the materials and craftsmanship required to perform in the real Alberta climate, season after season.
