About this service

Horses need space, safety, and shelter that holds up, and Tschetter Colony builds all three. Country Cabins crafts custom horse shelters and traditional barn-style structures designed specifically for equine needs, with the heavy-duty construction required to protect your animals through every Alberta season.

Each structure features a traditional barn design with wide doors and a covered front for easy access, essential when moving horses in and out in difficult weather. Inside, roomy, bright, and well-ventilated stalls provide private, comfortable spaces for each animal, while the overall layout is designed with both horse welfare and owner practicality in mind. An elevated loft adds valuable storage or additional functionality above the main floor.

Built with quality materials selected for long-term durability and reliable weatherproofing, these are not temporary or flimsy structures. Every horse shelter built at Tschetter Colony is crafted to the same standard as their cabins, solid, dependable, and designed to outlast years of daily use in demanding conditions.

Custom sizing is available to suit your herd and your property.
