Floating Solar Farm systems use modular floats with integrated brackets or cradles that securely hold solar panels in place on the water surface. Double‑sided (bifacial) solar panels perform especially well on water because the cooling effect of the pond or reservoir helps maintain higher efficiency, and the light reflected off the water onto the back of the panel further increases energy output. These floating solar farms are offered by contract only, allowing each project to be designed specifically to the client’s site, power needs, and water conditions.
